Reading

I think the school help us to do silent reading in the hall to improve our English. I like silent reading cause it help us improve our English. Reading help us to improve in composition writing and comprehension Open-Ended. I like to read fighting,shooting,killing and adventure books. It also improve our examination result in the future. I think they can make us read by telling us we may get ninety plus marks if we read more and more. The latest book I bought is Geronimo Stilton,The phantom of the subway. It is a adventure book that was written and he did the adventure. It is quite exciting when you read more.

Activities out side school

I have some activities outside schools. I have fun and easy enrichment class on thursday from 1.00 P.M. to 2.30 P.M. I also have 3 tuitions on saturday in a row. Chinese,English and maths. 1 tuition is 2 hours. So I go for 6 h ours of tuition. I think the tuitions are helping my studys and examinations result. My mother ask me if I want to go to tuition to study so i agreed. My tuition and fun and easy enrichment program is nessacary to me because I need more studys for my examinations and reach my targets set by my teachers. I think pupils doing outside school activities is good for learning,health or fitness.

Target Setting - Dare to dream! Strive!

The purpose of target setting is to achieve higher scores than before in our exams. For example, you score 90 marks for maths last year and you want your target to be 100 marks. Target setting is useful for us because it encourages us to study and improve our examinations. I set my target a few marks higher than my SA2 last year. I have a plan to achieve my targets, I have to study at home every day on my study table and learn new sections, words and things. My parents help me to achieve my targets by teaching me things that i don't know and new things. I read new books and do some writing at home to improve myself to motivate myself to achieve my targets. I think my teacher can help me achieve our targets by teaching us properly and quickly if possible.

Total Defense Blogging Competition

I want to protect Singapore from danger. If there was a superhero that helps win wars for us, how will we than him? I hope Singapore is well protected without earthquakes, tornadoes and wars. I want Singapore to be the most well protected country in the world forever. If Singapore get a first gold Olympics medal, the residents of Singapore will celebrate till midnight. When I sing the national anthem, I will feel proud of our country to be the safest country. Let’s all do our part to protect Singapore from danger. We want to stick together to stop pollution and fires. Let’s all celebrate Total Defense together to help people in danger.

Chinese New Year(The Year Of The Ox)

It is a new year, and the year of ox also the year of hope. Chinese new year is the only time to gamble with your relatives and family. Other times than Chinese New year, we can't gamble. What is the best thing is the Hong Bao(also called red packets) are given to children from your aunties and uncles. My aunty decorate our house by buying new plants that make us lucky and wealthy. When it is the first day of Chinese New Year, I went to visit my Grandparents and pay my respect to them. After that, I went to visit my cousins and play blackjack with them.Oh how I love playing blackjack. We played till midnight. When midnight came we all went home. It is the second day of Chinese New Year. I went to my aunty's house and brought two mandarin oranges and said "Gong Xi Fa Cai". After that we came home early. I wish Chinese New Year will come early next year.
